Blog 10 - Interview 2 Reflection

1. Please explain how you are spending your mentorship time (Is it at a workplace or somewhere else?  Are you shadowing?  Are you able to do tasks that are meaningfully related to the topic?  If so, what?  Are there other people who are experts in the location?  Etc...) During the summer i got to work on some cars. Now I really just clean because they are paying me so now they need me cleaning because this their biggest benefit. I used to shadow but being that I'm not doing or learning many new things they are not having me shadow. I am currently looking for another location closer to home to work at.

2.  How did you find your mentor?  How did you convince this person to help you?
I went to a race event they put on and i just asked him if that's something they would be willing to do some mentor ship and they said sure stop by.

3. How would you rate your comfort level with your mentor at this point in your relationship?  How does this relate to the time you've spent so far at mentorship/with this person
With John Hotchkis I'm probably a 5 out of 10 in comfort level. He is a cool nice guy but I don't see him much because he is running a big business and constantly in meetings or on trips.

4. What went well in this interview?  Why do you think so?  What do you still need to improve?  How do you know?  How will you go about it?
I wasn't able to do the interview because the SEMA show is this upcoming week. It is a huge show they and many other companies have been preparing for for months. Yearbook has helped me with interviewing people so it is not a big deal anymore.
