Blog 15: Third Interview Preparation

1.  Who do you plan to interview?  What is this person's area of expertise?
I plan to interview my Grandpa because he races for years and won many championships. I want to know more about that and the different setups he had.

2.  Verify that you have called your interviewee to schedule an interview.  What is the date and time of the interview? I have told him I want to interview him and he is in the hospital right now so I will interview him when he gets transferred to the rehab facility. He had knee surgery nothing life threatening. Ill most likely interview him the 18th or 19th of January.

3.  Phrase an open-ended question that will help you find research resources that would help to answer the EQ.

What did you learn over the years of racing that is something that you think everyone should know and why should they know that?

4.  Phrase an open-ended question that will help you think about other useful activities you might do to help you answer the EQ (IC2, possible experts to talk to, etc).

Have you ever ran all the wires and plumbed a frame?
How long would you estimate it takes to do it right?
For racing is it worth the time to box the frame?
What was the fastest setup you ever had in a racecar?
What was the set up in your fastest street/strip car?

5.  Phrase two open-ended questions that help you to understand your interviewee's perspective on an aspect of your EQ.

How was racing for you?
What was it like to travel nearly 200 mph?
Were you more nervous staging or running down the strip?
Why did you stop racing?
